Make a Sun Print!
You will need a pan, dark colored construction paper (red, orange, blue, or black would
work perfectly), pennies, tape, LOTS of sunshine!
Find a nice sunny spot to work on your project. Once you’ve arranged your coins, you will not want to move your paper until your project is complete, so choose wisely. Arrange your pennies in a pretty design on the paper. If you need to, use the tape to hold your pennies on the paper. Then, don’t move them for at least 4 hours! Make some observations along the way. Is your paper getting darker or lighter? What do you think is happening underneath the pennies? Touch a penny. How does it feel? Next start removing your pennies and see the design form right before your eyes !The paper underneath stayed dark because the pennies blocked the paper-fading UV rays of the sun. Pretty Cool!

Take a few minutes after dark tonight to step outside with your mom or dad and look up.
Keep looking…What do you see? The sky above us is full of amazing things that incite wonder: the stars, the moon, the planets and the vastness of it all.Observe the sky several evenings in a row and you will notice that the sky looks different each night than it did the night before. The moon may appear to be getting larger or smaller. The stars may seem brighter and more noticeable (or dimmer and harder to see). The sky itself may seem brighter or darker.
